As a wedding photographer, I get to experience a lot of things. One of those things is witnessing true love and friendship between two partners who truly cherish one another, and balance one another as human beings. It’s one of my favorite bride-walking-down-the-aisle photos ever, when Austin is overcome with his happiness and sadness all at once, just beaming at Shelby. I was blessed the day these two kind-hearted souls crossed my path and chose me to be their photographer. All the hearts for Shelby & Austin <3

Super 8mm Videography

The Wedding Day

Shelby & Austin had their entire day at the Grand River Center. They each had separate hotel rooms that I visited while they finished getting ready. Then we went to the ceremony spot, which is a beautiful peninsula of the building jutting out over the river with views on all sides. Everything was within easy walking distance. I especially loved their garden in front, and the coordinators were so helpful!

I enjoyed this day from start to finish. I got to talk to a lot of the guests about the super 8, as many of them recognized the sounds that the magical little machine produces when you’re pressing the record button. Shelby, Austin, and their entire families are some of the most open and loving folks I’ve ever been around. Here’s to Shelby and Austin, and many years of health, beauty, and love.
