I'm here for this colorful trend going around - the pastel palette, the multicolored bliss that has been the rave in the wedding industry since at least last October for me (it's August now).
Wilson's was beautiful as always. I'm always happy to book a wedding here, and I feel like they take such good care of the wedding vendors, which is unusual and appreciated so much! It's a lovely venue with an outdoor ceremony site that has a few advantages. It's in a dip below a hill on the west side, which means the sun is less harsh and it's almost always nicely shaded (great for lighting, guests and the ceremony alike!). The dip also protects from wind, which can be a nuisance during a wedding ceremony and photos. It's surrounded on all sides by something pretty to look at, during any season. You can have your ceremony indoors, if you want, too! A really nice backup strategy, which we all know is totally needed in Iowa.
From getting ready to after toasts, this was a lovely wedding and I'm so grateful I got to document it for Madison and Lance! Enjoy a little sample of their wedding day gallery!
