Melissa and Christian are such a vibe. My favorite kind of vibe. I get really excited when I see words like "ethereal", "cottage core", or "summer solstice" in my inquiry forms. Especially when they tell me their venue is Oak Hill Farm, one of my absolute favorite venues. As you can see from these images, the scenery is just beautiful all around the grounds. We had some rain delays with this June session, and it even threatened us after we had our whole picnic set up! It did sprinkle on us just a little, but everything worked out, as it always does. I love how the clouds contributed some moodiness to these shots that really capture their soft, creative and loving personalities.
Melissa and Christian came in with their own vision for their engagement session, and I love collaborating on this together! I can't encourage you more to share with your photographer what makes you, you. What makes your relationship special. It really helps bring out some unique images and images that just feel so significant to you, because you're being yourselves in them. You don't have to have all the props or have the perfect plan in mind - just letting yourself be relaxed or even silly together is enough.
