Meet the Buffingtons: Alex, Kori, Hudson, who is almost 3, and their newest family member, who is still in the oven! I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know this family over the last few years through my sister, who worked with Kori as a nurse, and their friendship has been a sweet blessing! They are so laid back and fun to work with. I always look forward to seeing them and watching their family grow. This little boy loves his mom and dad so much, and you can see how much they love him too. I can’t wait to see how Hudson is as a big brother.

We had a new experience together at the Visual Arts Building in Iowa City! Such a gorgeous place, spectacular architecture and design, and so many options for different shots. I loved shooting here! This was the first time that Hudson wasn’t really into the shoot, but I always take my time with the kiddos. When they’re being themselves at play is my favorite, anyway!
