decorah engagement session // natalia & susie
I visit Decorah one every other year or so to kayak and I've been dying to do an engagement session there! The downtown is unique and historic. As far as Iowa goes, the landscape is breathtaking. It's really a hidden gem and if you haven't been, here's your sign to visit. They have everything you need for a little weekend getaway, too - cute restaurants, coffee shops, hiking to rival a mountain climb (it really does feel like Colorado sometimes). Not to mention the kayaking and breweries! It just so happened to be the perfect halfway point between us, and exactly where these two met while going to school.

Natalia & Susie are so fun to hang out with and planned the cutest outfits and locations and even drove me all around the city! I was really attached to this downtown area, but otherwise they knew what they wanted and they made the executive decisions. :)
We started downtown and really didn't have to go far to reach some beautiful majestic landscape. The sunset was epic and where we finished the session is more beautiful than words. I never grow tired of beautiful light, prairies and sunsets. Thank you, Natalia & Susie!
